Arusha golden sunstone is a rare combination of golden sunstone and beryl that is found in Arusha, Tanzania. Sunstone is a type of feldspar that is usually translucent or transparent and has an optical effect called schiller. This effect is caused by reflections from red inclusions, which gives the stone a similar appearance to aventurine, and is why sunstone is also known as "aventurine-feldspar". Arusha sunstone has a shimmering orange beauty with rich pink undertones, and the translucence and color play of the gemstone beads create mesmerizing effects.

Sunstone's hardness falls between 6.5 and 7.2 on the Mohs hardness scale. It's not recommended to expose sunstone to heat, but its color is stable when exposed to light and won't fade.
