Nephrite Jade is one of the two true forms of jade (the other being jadeite), and it's the more ancient and traditionally used variety, especially in Chinese, Maori, and other indigenous cultures. It has a soft, waxy luster and usually appears in green, creamy white, brown, or black hues.
